Heart Failure Prognostication Via Remote Monitoring

Developed countries have seen an increase in heart failure, the effects of this condition have led to elevated hospitalizations and need for treatments. Pulmonary congestion is a common effect, it leads to coughing during the night and sleep disturbance. Early interventions are beneficial as they can prevent declines in health conditions or hospitalizations. With the use of digital devices, it is possible to gather reliable and continuous data in which cough can be recorded. The objective of this study is to describe symptoms of heart failure in high risk or confirmed participants using measurable elements (symptoms, complications, outcomes, procedures/treatments, death). These measures will be compared to the lifestyle and the quality of life and try to identify an association between the variables.
